When parents are involved in their children’s education students are more likely to get better grades and test scores, graduate from high school, go on to higher education, and are better behaved and have more positive attitudes. However if you’re a parent you may be asking yourself “how can I take an active role in my child’s education?” If you work in a school you may be wondering “how can I get parent’s to become more involved”?

We are asking that all schools, parents, and communities take an active role in creating an educational system that supports the involvement of parents. We ask that schools provide activities and opportunities for parents to become involved, and we ask that parents participate in the education of their children, whether it is in the school, at home, or in the community.
