Debra Jennings is the Executive Co-Director of the Statewide Parent Advocacy Network, a non-profit organization committed to working with parents and professionals to attain the educational rights of all children, thereby enabling them to become fully participating and contributing members of our communities and society. SPAN’s principal commitment is to children with the greatest need due to disability, poverty, geographic location, discrimination based on race, sex, or language, or other special circumstances. SPAN is the Parent Training and Information Center, the Family to Family Health Information Center and also houses the Family Voices Chapter for the State of New Jersey. |

Her responsibilities include providing technical assistance and training to assist school districts on the design and implementation of Bilingual/ESL programs; assisting in the administration of grant applications under the Language Instruction for Limited English Proficient and Immigrant Students, Title III, for eligible school districts; Provide technical assistance and training in applying for NCLB, Title III federal funding as well other discretionary grant opportunities concerning Limited English Proficient (LEP) and Immigrant students |

New Jersey Association of Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies (NJACCRRA)--Nancy Thomson is currently president of the New Jersey Association of Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies, which is comprised of the state-contracted child care resource and referral (CCR&R) agency from each of New Jersey's counties. Nancy is the the executive director of Child Care Connection, the local CCR&R that serves Mercer County. |

Sh'corah Yehuda |

Statewide Parent Advocacy Network, Inc. Sh’corah Yehudah is the Violence Prevention/Family Strengthening Coordinator for the Statewide Parent Advocacy Network (SPAN), an organization dedicated to the empowerment of families and the healthy development and educational rights of all children.
Ms. Yehudah provides trainings and workshops to families, professionals and other concerned citizens on such issues as; family strengthening, community building, conflict resolution, creating positive - effective school environments, cultural competency and bullying prevention.
Prior to her employment with SPAN, Ms. Yehudah worked for many years as a Domestic Violence Counselor/Caseworker at the Resource Center for Women and Their Families, the Somerset County Battered Women’s Program.
She has been a faculty member with the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Education in Tobacco (NJICET) and a Child Assault Prevention (CAP) facilitator. She has also been on the advisory board of the Youth Consultation Service (YCS) Mentorship Program, a member of Essex County Communities Against Tobacco (CAT), Union County Disabilities and Addictions Task-Force, New Jersey Partners in Justice, Team Newark, Greater Essex County Council of Collaboratives, and Co-Advisor to the Parent Initiative of the New Jersey Coalition for Bullying Awareness and Prevention. She is presently a member of Human Service Advisory Council (HSAC) and The New Jersey Taskforce on Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Sub-Committee.
Ms. Yehudah is dedicated to the empowerment of all families, and women and children in particular. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management.
